Welcome

Thank you for visiting our wedding website! We are so excited to share the details of our special day with you. We have such gratitude for our beautiful life together and for our family and friends who add so much to our lives. We are thrilled to invite you to be part of our new life together and look forward to many life celebrations with you in the future!

We have chosen to have a destination wedding on the island of Kauai!

We have many fond memories of Kauai and not only wanted to return to start our new lives together there, but to also share the magic of Kauai with our friends and family. Because we love this Hawaiian Island so much, and because we want to spend as much time as possible with our loved ones, we will also enjoy our honeymoon there!

 

Proposal

We had talked about "when we're married" but we had never talked about actually getting married. So it was a complete surprise when he DID propose. We were away on a little "getaway" to Santa Cruz, hiking in the redwoods. We stopped for a picnic near this giant tree that had a beautiful view of the ocean. The fog was just clearing. As he unloaded the picnic goodies from his backpack, the ring box fell out and landed right at my feet! It was quite how he had planned it but it was still very sweet and romantic. He immediately dropped to his knee, picked up the box and asked me to marry him!

 

Ceremony
